Description

Churros Poppers are a delightful twist on the classic churro, transforming them into bite-sized pieces of crispy goodness with a warm, fluffy center. These mini treats are coated in a sweet cinnamon sugar blend and are perfect for dipping into rich chocolate sauce or enjoying plain.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder (for dusting)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Vegetable oil (for frying)
  • Chocolate sauce (for dipping)

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine water, sugar, and salt until dissolved. Add flour all at once and stir vigorously until the mixture forms a ball.
  2. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly before adding eggs one at a time while beating until fully incorporated.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a deep pot to about 350Β°F (175Β°C).
  4. Transfer dough to a piping bag with a star tip; pipe small rounds directly into the hot oil.
  5. Fry until golden brown, about 3 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels.
  6. Toss warm poppers in cinnamon sugar and serve with chocolate sauce.
