- 1 cup chopped green cabbage
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- ½ cup whole milk or heavy cream

Instructions
- Peel and cut the potatoes into even chunks.
- Boil the potato chunks in salted water for 15-20 minutes until fork-tender.
- In a skillet, melt butter and sauté the chopped cabbage for about 5 minutes until softened.
- Drain the boiled potatoes, return them to the pot, and mash with sautéed cabbage and milk/cream until smooth.
- Stir in green onions and season with salt and pepper. Adjust seasoning as needed.
