- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1 cup grated asiago cheese
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium heat.
- Pat chicken breasts dry and season with salt and pepper. Brown in the skillet for about 5 minutes on each side. Remove from skillet.
- In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic until fragrant. Stir in heavy cream and chicken broth until well combined.
- Add grated asiago cheese and Italian seasoning, stirring until smooth. Return chicken to the skillet, spooning sauce over it.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until cooked through. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
