Description

One Pot Spaghetti is your go-to recipe for a comforting meal that’s both delicious and hassle-free. This dish combines tender spaghetti, vibrant diced tomatoes, and aromatic herbs all cooked in a single pot, ensuring that flavors meld beautifully while minimizing cleanup.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 ounces spaghetti
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes with juice
  • 4 cups vegetable or chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish (optional)
  • Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. 1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Sauté chopped onion until translucent, about 5 minutes. Add minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
  2. 2. Add uncooked spaghetti, diced tomatoes with juice, broth, oregano, and basil. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. 3. Bring to a boil; then reduce heat to medium-low. Cover and simmer for about 10 to 12 minutes or until spaghetti is al dente, stirring occasionally.
  4. 4. Remove from heat; let sit for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh basil and grated Parmesan if desired.
