- 1 cup granulated sugar (divided)
- 1 package (3 oz) strawberry Jell-O
- 2 cups boiling water
- 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup whipped topping
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C). Mix crushed pretzels and melted butter in a bowl. Press into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Bake for 10 minutes until golden brown. Allow crust to cool completely.
- In a bowl, combine boiling water with strawberry Jell-O until dissolved. Stir in sliced strawberries and chill until thickened.
- Beat softened cream cheese with 1/2 cup sugar and vanilla extract until smooth. Gently fold in whipped topping.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cooled crust. Pour the chilled Jell-O mixture on top and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
