Ingredients

  • 2 cups crushed pretzels
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar (divided)
  • 1 package (3 oz) strawberry Jell-O
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup whipped topping
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C). Mix crushed pretzels and melted butter in a bowl. Press into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Bake for 10 minutes until golden brown. Allow crust to cool completely.
  3. In a bowl, combine boiling water with strawberry Jell-O until dissolved. Stir in sliced strawberries and chill until thickened.
  4. Beat softened cream cheese with 1/2 cup sugar and vanilla extract until smooth. Gently fold in whipped topping.
  5. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cooled crust. Pour the chilled Jell-O mixture on top and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
