Description

Homemade Crunch Bars are a delightful treat that combines the rich flavors of creamy peanut butter, smooth chocolate, and crispy rice cereal. These bars are easy to prepare and require no baking, making them a perfect option for a quick snack or dessert.

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • A pinch of salt
  • Β½ cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine peanut butter and honey. Stir until smooth.
  3. Remove from heat; stir in vanilla and salt. Fold in the crispy rice cereal until evenly coated.
  4. Transfer the mixture into the prepared dish and press down firmly.
  5. If using, sprinkle chocolate chips on top and press gently.
  6. Let cool at room temperature for about one hour or refrigerate for quicker results before cutting into squares.
