 - 1 tsp salt
 - ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
 - 1 cup whole milk, warmed
 - 1 tsp ground cinnamon
 - 2 large eggs
 - Optional filling: chocolate chips or fruit preserves
 
Instructions
- Activate the yeast: Combine warm milk and sugar in a small bowl. Sprinkle yeast on top and let it sit until frothy (5-10 minutes).
 - Create the dough: In a large bowl, mix flour and salt. Add melted butter and eggs to the yeast mixture, then combine with flour until a shaggy dough forms.
 - Knead the dough: On a floured surface, knead for 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
 - First rise: Place the dough in an oiled bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm area until doubled in size (about 1 hour).
 - Add filling (optional): Roll out dough into a rectangle, spread softened butter, sprinkle cinnamon sugar or desired filling, then roll tightly.
 - Shape & second rise: Cut into pieces and place in a greased baking dish; cover and let rise until puffy (30 minutes).
 - Bake: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and bake rolls for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
