  • ½ cup brown sugar

  • 1 cup finely chopped Granny Smith apples
  • ¾ cup milk
  • 1 cup cream cheese frosting
  • ½ cup caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, cream softened butter with sugars until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time along with vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually combine dry ingredients into the wet mixture, alternating with milk until smooth.
  5. Fold in chopped apples gently.
  6. Pour batter into liners about two-thirds full and bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Cool cupcakes on a wire rack before frosting with cream cheese frosting and drizzling caramel sauce.
