Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the egg yolk and mix well.
  4. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, mixing gently until combined.
  5. Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto the baking sheets. Press your thumb into the center of each ball to create an indent.
  6. Fill each indent with chocolate chips or ganache.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes until slightly set but soft in the center. Cool on wire racks.
