  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup heavy cream (or half-and-half)

  • 1 tbsp lemon zest
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook spaghetti or linguine until al dente (8-10 minutes). Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 30 seconds). Add shrimp and cook until pink and opaque (about 2-3 minutes).
  3. Reduce heat slightly, then add heavy cream, lemon juice, and zest. Stir gently and let simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add drained pasta to the skillet with the sauce; toss until noodles are well-coated.
  5. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
