  • 1 bag sturdy tortilla chips (about 8 oz)
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese (mixed)
  • 1 cup salsa
  • ¼ cup fresh cilantro (chopped)
  • ½ cup sour cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned (about 5-7 minutes). Stir occasionally until fully cooked.
  3. Mix in the salsa and half of the shredded cheese until combined and heated through.
  4. Arrange tortilla chips on the prepared tray to form small cups. Spoon the meat mixture into each chip cup.
  5. Top with remaining cheese and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  6. Remove from oven, let cool slightly, then add chopped cilantro and dollops of sour cream before serving.
