- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 6 strips thick-cut bacon
- 1 cup fresh romaine lettuce, chopped
- 2 ripe tomatoes, diced
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Season chicken with salt and pepper. In a large oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken until golden brown on both sides (about 6 minutes per side). Remove from skillet.
- In the same skillet, cook chopped bacon until crispy. Add cream cheese, garlic powder, and chicken broth; stir until smooth.
- Return the chicken to the skillet and pour the creamy sauce over it. Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and cheese is bubbly.
