Description

Turkey meatballs are a delicious, healthy alternative to traditional beef meatballs, delivering a satisfying bite with every flavor-packed morsel. Perfect for weeknight dinners or festive gatherings, these juicy turkey meatballs can be served with marinara sauce over spaghetti, as a delightful sub sandwich filling, or enjoyed on their own as appetizers. They come together quickly and easily, making them a go-to recipe for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb lean ground turkey
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (plain or Italian-seasoned)
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 large egg (room temperature)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups marinara sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, parsley, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and Parmesan. Mix until just combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into 1-2 inch meatballs and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. While baking, warm the marinara sauce in a saucepan. Once cooked, add meatballs to the sauce and simmer briefly.
  6. Serve over pasta or in subs with additional parsley or cheese if desired.
