Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1 tablespoon dried culinary-grade lavender buds
  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 46 lemons)
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 4 cups filtered water

Instructions

  1. Boil 1 cup of water in a small saucepan. Add dried lavender buds and steep for 10 minutes. Strain and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, mash 1 cup of fresh blueberries until chunky.
  3. In a large pitcher, combine the lavender infusion, mashed blueberries, lemon juice, and sugar. Stir until well mixed.
  4. Add 4 cups of cold water to the pitcher and stir again. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  5. Serve over ice and garnish with extra blueberries or a sprig of lavender.
