Description

Peach Basil Iced Tea is a refreshing summer beverage that perfectly blends the sweetness of ripe peaches and the aromatic notes of fresh basil. Ingredients

  • 4 cups water
  • 4 black tea bags
  • 2 ripe peaches, sliced
  • 1012 fresh basil leaves
  • ¼ cup sugar or honey (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Boil 4 cups of water in a medium saucepan. Once boiling, remove from heat and add the tea bags. Steep for 5 minutes.
  2. Remove tea bags and stir in sugar or honey while still warm.
  3. Add sliced peaches and basil leaves to the tea, gently muddling to release flavors.
  4. Let the mixture cool at room temperature for 15 minutes, then transfer to a pitcher and chill in the refrigerator for about 1 hour.
  5. Serve over ice, garnished with additional peach slices and basil if desired.
