  • 1/2 cup sago pearls
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped
  • 1 cup unsweetened coconut milk
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons sugar or honey (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • Mint leaves (optional for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Rinse sago pearls under cold water until clear. Soak in warm water for 30 minutes.
  2. In a saucepan, boil 2 cups of water over medium heat. Add soaked sago and stir gently until translucent, about 10–15 minutes. Drain excess water.
  3. In another pot, combine coconut milk and sugar/honey over low heat until dissolved. Stir in lime juice.
  4. Mix drained sago into the coconut sauce until well combined.
  5. Gently fold in chopped strawberries.
  6. Transfer to serving bowls and refrigerate for at least one hour before serving.
