- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp paprika
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and sauté chopped onions until translucent (3-4 minutes). Add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
- Increase heat slightly and add ground beef; cook until browned (5-7 minutes), breaking up clumps. Drain excess fat if needed.
- Stir in diced potatoes, chicken broth, salt, pepper, and paprika. Simmer gently for about 10 minutes until potatoes soften slightly.
- Layer half of the mixture in a greased baking dish, sprinkle with half the cheese, then layer the remaining mixture followed by the rest of the cheese.
- Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 15 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
