- 28 oz canned whole peeled tomatoes, crushed

- 1 cup dry red wine
- 1 cup orzo pasta
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add chopped onions and sauté until translucent.
- Increase heat to medium-high; add cubed beef and sear until browned on all sides.
- Stir in minced garlic, cinnamon, and oregano; cook for about one minute then deglaze with red wine.
- Mix in crushed tomatoes, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer and partially cover; cook for about 1 hour.
- After an hour, stir in orzo pasta and continue cooking until al dente.
- Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
