Scale
  • 24 chocolate sandwich cookies (e.g., Oreos), crushed
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs, room temperature
  • 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • ½ cup chocolate sauce (store-bought or homemade)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Crush chocolate cookies until fine crumbs. Mix with melted butter and press into the bottom of a springform pan. Bake for 10 minutes.
  2. In a bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add sugar, mixing well.

  4. Fold in roughly crushed cookie pieces into the batter.
  5. Pour filling over cooled crust and smooth the top. Bake for 50-60 minutes until set around edges but slightly jiggly in the center.
  6. Cool completely at room temperature before chilling in the fridge for at least four hours or overnight.
