- 1 cup tomato sauce

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove seeds.
- In a skillet over medium heat, sauté onions and garlic until translucent (3-4 minutes). Add ground meat; cook until browned.
- Stir in cooked rice, tomato sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until combined.
- Stuff each pepper with the filling and place in a baking dish. Top with shredded cheese.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25-30 minutes until peppers are tender. Remove foil for the last 5 minutes to melt cheese.
