  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar (light or dark)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 2 large eggs (room temperature)
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Halloween sprinkles (for decoration)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream melted butter with granulated and brown sugars until fluffy.
  4. Beat in eggs one at a time along with vanilla extract until smooth.
  5. Gradually combine dry ingredients into the wet mixture without overmixing.
  6. Fold in chocolate chips and half of the Halloween sprinkles.
  7. Layer half of the brownie batter in the pan, drop spoonfuls of cookie dough on top, then add remaining brownie batter.
  8. Bake for 25–30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out mostly clean. Cool before cutting.
