- 10 mini Oreo cookies (for tombstones)
- 1 cup chocolate frosting (store-bought or homemade)
- Edible eyes (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
- In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in granulated and brown sugars until well combined.
- Allow the mixture to cool slightly, then whisk in eggs one at a time followed by vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Gradually fold this dry mixture into the wet ingredients until just combined.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan and smooth out evenly. Bake for 25-30 minutes until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
- Once cooled, spread frosting on top and decorate with mini Oreos as tombstones and edible eyes if desired.
